Supply prohibited drug in sting operation
MWG was approached by a man at a Bondi pub, who befriended MWG and asked MWG for help in obtaining drugs. MWG took money from the man and used it to buy a gram of cocaine. He did not benefit financially from this transaction. The man was an undercover police officer.
Police arrested MWG the next day and charged him with supplying a prohibited drug.
Guilty plea leads to good behaviour bond
MWG pleaded guilty to the charge. The Local Court recorded a conviction against MWG, and sentenced him to a 2-year good behaviour bond and a fine.
