Client and complainant were in an argument
WP was a 22 year old who was in an intimate relationship with the complainant. The complainant alleged that at the time of the incident, the complainant was in the kitchen when WP started yelling at her. She further alleged that WP continued to shout abusive comments at the victim and at one point hit her with a tennis racquet. The incident caused her to run out of the unit upset and crying.
Charges against client withdrawn
The police arrested WP charging him with assault occasioning actual bodily harm.
