Oliver holds a Bachelor of Science (Honours in Microbiology) from the University of Queensland and a Juris Doctor from the University of Sydney.
He has previously volunteered at the Redfern Legal Centre and has worked on secondment as a criminal lawyer at the North Australian Aboriginal Justice Agency (NAAJA), Alice Springs.
