Offensive behaviour within hearing from a public place/school: Police v KPP

Offensive behaviour and affray

KPP was involved in a pub brawl at a hotel off Oxford Street in inner Sydney’s suburb of Darlinghurst. Police charged KPP with offensive behaviour and affray. CCTV captured the entire incident.

Affray charge dismissed. Section 10 for offensive behaviour

However, after reviewing the footage in court, KPP’s affray charge was dismissed. In addition, a section 10 non-conviction went on the record for the charge of offensive behaviour.
