It was around 4am when the victims were walking towards Liverpool Station. KF and two others approached the victims asking for the time before beginning to hit them and pushing them to the ground. KF attempted to take one of the victim’s phone but the victim prevented him from doing so and ran away.
Our client was charged on 2 counts of robbery in company. The first one was in relation to his taking the wallet and phone charger, and the other, in relation to taking the mobile phone. The first charge was withdrawn, and KF pleaded guilty to the second charge.
Given that KF was a young person, his sentencing hearing was heard at Campbelltown Children’s Court. O’Brien Criminal & Civil Solicitors was able to obtain a no conviction outcome for KF on the condition that he enter into a good behaviour bond.
