Driving with low range PCA
Police were idling at the traffic lights off Oxford Street in Sydney’s Eastern Suburbs when they saw RE’s car perform two successive illegal U-turns. Police pulled RE’s vehicle over, and subjected RE to a roadside breath test.
Subsequently, the test returned a positive reading of 0.053 grams of alcohol in 210 litres of breath. This is only just over the legal limit for a driver on an unrestricted licence.
Good behaviour bond
The magistrate discharged RE from the low range PCA drink driving charge on the condition that she enter a good behaviour bond. A good behaviour bond of 2 years duration was applicable in this case.
