Patrick was admitted to the legal profession in 1990 and became an accredited specialist in Personal Injury in November 2002.
Patrick spent 17 years with NSW Local Courts including in the role of Registrar in the courts of Ryde, Kogarah and Dubbo.
After six years in private practice in Dubbo, Patrick then moved on to become a civil solicitor at NSW Legal Aid in their Dubbo and Nowra offices. After 18 years in with Legal Aid, Patrick made the move back to private practice to join us here at O’Brien Criminal & Civil Solicitors.
As a Justice Medal Nominee in 2013 from the NSW Law and Justice Foundation, Patrick is dedicated to pursuing justice for those wronged by the State and other institutions.
Current Practice Area
Patrick has significant experience as a civil solicitor across New South Wales and has a great appreciation of the law.
Practicing in our civil department, Patrick focuses on:
- general civil litigation in all jurisdictions;
- intentional torts against NSW Police and others; and
- personal injury claims.
