Local Courts are the courts where most criminal charges go for a hearing. A magistrate, not a judge, will decide guilt and sentence any convicted person. The Local Court does not have a jury. The NSW District Court and NSW Supreme Court use juries to hear and determine more serious criminal matters.
The team at O’Brien Solicitors have a lot of experience as local court advocates. If you have been charged with an offence we can help you to get the best possible outcome.
