42-Year-Old Man to Face Additional 210 Charges

A 42-year-old man is facing Tweed Heads Local Court today for a long list of offences related to alleged child abuse.

The man to face an additional 210 charges

He was arrested last week after police allegedly found thousands of videos and photos containing child abuse material at his home. He was charged with a range of offences including sexual and indecent assaults, break-ins, and producing child abuse material.

Police are now laying an additional 210 charges against the man including bestiality, aggravated sexual assault and stalking among others.

It is alleged by the police that the man committed offences against at least 161 victims across the Tweed-Byron region over a 9 year period.
