Drink driving high range PCA: Police v KR

High Range PCA; Fine

Facts: KR was charged with driving with a high range PCA (Prescribed Concentration of Alcohol). The Blood Alcohol Content (BAC) was 0.153. This charge can result in a fine of over $3000 or imprisonment for 18 months or both.

KR pleaded guilty early.

Result: After amassing positive character references, he received only a $1500 fine with a 12 month good behaviour bond upon sentencing.
