WM – No conviction for client charged with property offence

Facts: Intentionally or recklessly destroy/damage property

WM was charged with recklessly destroying property (section 195(1)(a), Crimes Act 1900) after allegedly punching the victim’s car window as a result of a road rage incident. Subsequently, WM sent letters of apologies for his behaviour surrounding the incident and showed genuine remorse for his actions.

Outcome: Conditional release order
