Jenna joined the team at O’Brien Criminal & Civil Solicitors in early 2026 after 12 years of practice in Lismore, NSW, where she worked across civil litigation, crime, family law, wills and estates, property law, and equity.
She has also served as a casual academic for the University of New South Wales practical legal training program in litigation.
Jenna brings a wealth of knowledge across many areas of law. In the unique position of being both a trained litigator and collaborative lawyer, she excels at representing clients at mediation and in the courtroom.
Her passion lies in representing survivors of childhood sexual assault and individuals who have been poorly treated by the police force.
Jenna is known for practising with kindness while delivering direct, commercially sound, and practical legal advice. Having spent many years in regional and rural NSW, she is recognised for her resourceful, creative, and out-of-the-box thinking, most notably continuing to run her practice from her mobile phone using a generator after her Lismore workplace was inundated with 14 metres of water during the 2022 floods.
Jenna is also passionate about mentoring and managing junior solicitors who share her commitment to pursuing a career in social justice.
