Facts:
PH was under an ADVO prohibiting him from contacting his former partner, who received a number of calls and text messages from PH over a few months. On each occasion, the former partner answered his calls or messages. The former partner attended Mosman Police Station as she became worried about the incidents and provided Police with a signed statement outlining the events. PH attended Auburn Police Station and was placed under arrest for contravening the ADVO. PH was also resentenced for breaching his good behaviour bond.
Outcome:
O’Brien Criminal and Civil Solicitors successfully acted for PH, who received a 12-month community correction order with conditions. No further action was taken by the Court regarding the breach.
