Beycan Irmako

Civil Paralegal

Beycan is a current student at Macquarie University and is studying a Bachelor of Law majoring in Corporate and Commercial Law. He has volunteered at various community legal centres.

This included the Welfare Rights Centre within the Disability Support Pension Clinic, where he provided assistance to people trying to navigate through the complexities of Disability Support. Simultaneously, Beycan volunteered at the Refugee Advice and Casework Service and assisted individuals to seek asylum.

Following this, Beycan worked as a paralegal at a Corporate and Commercial Law firm in Sydney, providing both legal and administrative support in a variety of civil matters. Beycan joined the civil team at O’Brien’s this year and has a special interest in police misconduct.
