Facts: While present in a hotel, HG was attacked by a male police officer. He was punched in the face, kicked while on the ground, and beaten with a baton. While on the ground, he was sprayed with Capsicum spray. He was in custody for four hours after that, and police were found to have lied in their statements regarding the incident.

Result: HG initiated an action in False Imprisonment, Assault, Battery and Malicious Prosecution. The case was successfully settled.
