Our client suffered an attack which led to a malicious prosecution claim against police

While present in a hotel, a male police officer attacked HG. The officer punched him in the face, kicked him while on the ground, and beat him with a baton. While on the ground, the officer sprayed him with Capsicum spray. He was in custody for four hours after that. Police were found to have lied in their statements regarding the incident.

Result: 

HG initiated an action in False Imprisonment, Assault, Battery and Malicious Prosecution. The case successfully settled.
