Medical practitioner; giving evidence against school; assistance with submissions; Royal Commission into Institutional Responses to Child Sexual Abuse
O’Brien Solicitors’ client, a medical practitioner, was summonsed as a witness before the Royal Commission to give evidence relating to complaints of sexual abuse at a school in the 1980s. In the course of our client’s work at that time, the child victim of the incident had disclosed the facts of the abuse to him. The school at the centre of the complaints is a highly prestigious independent Sydney school.
O’Brien Solicitors assisted our client in the preparation of his appearance and when he gave evidence. Findings are anticipated against the school.
If you are summonsed to appear before a commission of inquiry, such as ICAC, contact O’Brien Criminal and Civil Solicitors on (02) 9261 4281 24 hours a day, 7 days a week to get help from one of our commission lawyers in our Sydney office.
